adjustments, and massage therapy, which sets us apart from other chiropractors in the area.
At the new art of chiropractic we have treated many different conditions over the last 30 years. Common conditions that we treat are: headaches, neck pain, upper, mid, low back pain, low back pain, radiating pain down the arms and legs, shoulder and elbow injuries, hip and knee injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, tendinitis, plantar fasciitis and arch problems, sinus problems, sciatic problems, and TMJ problems.
There are some common misconceptions about chiropractic care including our qualifications and level of education. The truth is chiropractic doctors have roughly the equivalent of a general practitioner in hours of education. We have to take a state and national board exam in order to receive our license and needs to complete 20 hours of continuing education every year in order to maintain our chiropractic license as well.
Chiropractic adjustments are also extremely safe. All types of physical therapy and medication you do have side effects. The odds of you being seriously injured by a chiropractic adjustment are less than that of you being struck by lightning.
We also offer different types of treatment plans in our Cottage Grove facility. We have comprehensive plans that include nutrition, strengthening, and spinal remodeling. We also have shorter relief type treatment programs. We always let the patient choose the level of care that's right for them.
The next step would be to call or email our office to set up an initial consultation to see if we would be able to help you with your problem.
